This policy explains what information CLOUD SMS ("we", "us") collects when you use cloudsms.in, the Cloud SMS panel and the Cloud SMS API, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account details: your name, username, mobile number, email address, business name and GST number.
Payment records: the amount, the UTR or bank reference number, and any payment screenshot you upload when adding balance.
Messaging data: sender IDs, templates, recipient mobile numbers, message content and delivery status of the SMS you send.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, sign-in times and API request logs.

How we use it

To create and run your account, and to deliver the messages you send.
To verify payments and add balance.
To meet TRAI and DLT requirements, and to detect spam, fraud and misuse.
To send service messages about your account, such as one-time passwords, balance updates and policy changes.
To answer your support requests.

Sharing

We share recipient numbers, message content and sender details with telecom operators and delivery partners only as needed to deliver your messages. We disclose information to government authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell your data or the data of your recipients.

Retention

We keep account and payment records while your account is active and for the period required by tax and telecom regulations. Message logs are kept for up to 12 months unless the law requires a longer period.

Security

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, API keys are encrypted, and access to customer data is limited to staff who need it. Keep your password and API key private, and tell us immediately if you think either has been exposed.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms against misuse. We do not use advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can update your profile from the panel. To close your account, or to ask for a copy or deletion of your data, write to support@cloudsms.in. Some records may be kept where the law requires it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
